Trans Swap, New ECM Prom?

Hi. Swapped from a TH400 to an SM465 (truck application). Haven't finished yet, still work in progress. Do I have to change the ECM or Prom for my truck to run? Never thought about it till last minute of course. Truck is an 88 w/350TBI.

Also, while I'm asking questions, the TH400 had a VSS on it, while the SM465 does not. Do I need the VSS for it to run?

Chris

The IAC has a reset the occurs at a given VSS, and the throttle follower looks at the VSS.
