730 ecm to a 749 ecm swap

Can anyone help me in doing this swap. I need to know where i can get this ecm at good price and what is needed to perform this task. Reason for the swap is for the use of my supercharger and the deletion of my FMU. Hopefully. Thanks guys for any help

Do a search for '749' and read everything that comes up. You'll learn alot about the swap. I got my 749 ECM from a guy who was parting out a wrecked 92 GMC Syclone for $100. I found him on the Syclone/Typhoon forums. Good luck!!

A 749 is not nessesary if you are running Saturated (high Z)injectors. A 730 will work with $58 code provided you rewire the harness to match a SyTy. I have run both in my malibu, and have swapped out both ECMS without a change in performance.

Again do a search on 749, as I have, along with many others have posted a ton of info.
