Hypertech chip solve governer?

My 91 rs 305 TBI has Hypertech Stage 1 emprom chip, how does this affect my cars top speed governer?

Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73

It doesnt. Hypertech chips do not remove the speed limiter, as far as I've seen.

i have a 91 305 TBI low miles, great engine, tires, lowered with minor suspension work.. is the car even safe above 110?
