Does anyone ave any pics of where they mounted the ECU and how did you route the harness....

I made a bracket for my Holley C950 ECU & mounted it in the stock ECM location. I drilled a hole under the heat box in the firewall & ran it up to the engine from there.

 

I'm hoping i can mount the Accel ECU in the original location and route the wires thru the fender insted of cutting a 2 big hole (1-5/16") in my firewall...

Hey Rick,

i just cheched out your website and you seem to be running a similar setup to mine. I just bought the commander950 kit with the HSR. How do you like yours? is it better than the superram? How was tunning it? I'm planning to install mine over the 4th weekend. Did you have any trouble getting itr running?

 

I love it. It gave an entirely different personality to the car. It started up without any trouble. I actually used the 950 with the Super Ram, then later got the HSR in trade for SR & some other stuff. Just take your time, the most critical part is getting the distributor synched with the ECU. Tuning is easy just follow the manual.

 

Nobody has a Accel gen 7 install in their car or what???
