I hope im in the right place i was reading an article at chevythunder it stated that there is a program that can be used on your computer or labtop that can diagnois the codes can anyone tell me were i can get such a thing?

 

Check out craig moates free software. If you search on the boards you will find the download for it with directions on how to build the cable for it.
I have not tried it because I have an autoxray, but I have heard that it works well. It is defintely the best bang for the buck. under 20 bucks to build the cable.

It might be easier to just send craig a wuick e-mail. I know there is a page that has the exactly what you need, but I assumed that it would be on craig's homepage somewhere. If you search the boards for Craig Moates or WinALDL you should find something.
