It seems to me like the 01227302 ECM is hard to find support for. Is this ECM worthy of use, or should I find another? Is this ECM just as good as the others? I have quant 2 2.8L 700R4 eng/tranny MPFI's from a 86 and an 89. Both have this ECM. I just want to know if I should find a better ECM. I can't seem to find any suggestions to do a swap, or any regular PROM support or tweeks for this ECM. The cars are being rebuilt at the moment, so I have some free time to let the car sit. Any suggestions or links would be greately appreciated. Thanks!

Just browsing through older posts. . . Yes to a change out, look into the '165 ECM. It is still a MAF unit that is used on the '86-'89 TPI cars. Lots of support for it too. Editors, hacs, scan tools, tuning information . . .
