Piggy back for stock computer??
Piggy back for stock computer??
A friend remembered using a piggy back unit using a laptop to edit things for TPI Corvettes(same as third gen F bodies TPIs) that did not require burning new PROMs. He thought it was a DFI. Is there anything like that still out there?

You need to read up on the Tunercat R_T.
There's been a number of threads about it in the DIY PROM board. It allows real time tuning with a laptop, and when your done, you just need to do a permanent chip.
