Car: White 25th Anniversary RS

Engine: lt1

Transmission: t56

Axle/Gears: 4:10

is this the same ecm?

ok guys i have a ecm here out of a 92 v6 3.1. it has a blue chip in it it looks to be the same as a v8 tpi ecm. i am planning on getting a new chip for it and running my lt1 intake swap off it will this ecm work? are the 92 sd v6 and v8 ecm the same? any help is much appreciated. thanks guys

Sure are. Have the number 1227730 on it? (May be different as the number has changed if it is a reman unit).

Only difference will be the MEMCAL. Will need to get one for the V8 car. The MEMCAL is the unit with the blue cover, push down the clips at each end and it will pop out.

Yes, need a V8 MEMCAL. The code (in the chip), NETRES and knock filter are different between the two.
