Aftermarket chips
Aftermarket chips
I was just wondering if a aftermarket chip would be a good investment. I know you guys dont really like them, and say that they are worthless but i just want a cheap mod for my 85 IROC 305 TPI to give it more pep. Any imput would help, and its mostly stock ecept for K&N's and Flowmaster muffler, but want to get a whole cat back and headers.

For the money guys are chaging for custom chips you can buy most all the stuff to do your own.
The off the self ones seldom do more then what changing the thermostat does, other then changing the fan turn on temp, and you can buy a thermostat and new sender cheaper.

I can get you a Jet superchip for the 87 Iroc... I work at an auto parts store and he wants to get rid of because we don't stock it! Not sure how much he would be willing to get rid of it for. Let me know
