A/C control

Does anyone know if the 730 ECM is capable of controlling the A/C compressor relay as the 727 ECM is. If so which pin is for the control to the relay.

$8D mask as such the Corvette uses? D3 is A/C request, F3 is A/C relay control.

Yes I'm refering to the $8D mask.

The pins I posted above are for the '730 ECM. May or may not need to tweak the calibration parameters to have the A/C operate. All depends upon the BCC used. Don't know of any other reason it won't work (besides a little re-wiring).

Currently the A/C on input is on pin C9. Does this need to be moved to D3 or does the request circuit need to be added.

That is a status input. It lets the ECM know that the A/C compressor is active. Allows the ECM to control the idle & fans relative to the A/C compressor being engaged.
