Data logging using Moates w/o disk drive

I have a newer laptop which doesn't have a floppy drive. I am using a bootable CD and have the moates software on the same CD. The only problem is that I cannot log since the program makes you save to the same path as the software directory. ..And of course I can't write to the CD in dos mode. Any suggestions? USB Flash drive perhaps? Or?

Download the software onto your laptop.
Then install it. OR simply copy the zip to a cd and then copy to LT. Then install it.

Ya... I just figured out that I was able to still get to my hard drive files. I figured I could, but I didn't try all the way to G drive until now
