Knock sensor visual cue?

Is there a way to hook up the knock sensor to an LED or something that will flash when the sensor detects knock? I don't have any wiring info here, and I'm not really sure how the knock sensor works. Any help would be appreciated.

I suppose you could plumb it in to the ouutput of the esc module. Whenever knock is detected teh LED would momentarily flash off, although it may be too fast to be seen. The knock sensor itself doesnt produce any useful output.

Casper's Electronics sells one.
There used to be a circuit at the GNType Site for one.
