installed gen 7 before?

my 436 with a large capacity plenum SR intake with a large solid roller cam is reaking havoc on my 92 speed density system. my car has 47,000 original miles on the chassis, with an excellent condition harness. my plans are an accel DFI. would this plug into my harness or am i asking for a too easy way out . i would like to simplify my install as much as possible. any feedback would be appreciated.

aDFIguy, the car is running good, i still have a little hiccup every once in awhile (rpm's just dip at random)... but since i had Dan Millen tune it...i can't touch anything because of the password protection. i understand he wants to protect his investment in his knowledge...but it's not like i'm going to be selling his program...come now..how many car have the same combination as me? maybe one or two....

Yeah, I kind of agree with you in that there won't be a big demand for the calibration for your combo... Did he tell you up front that the calibration would be protected with a password?

You might try doing some data logging to figure out the hiccup. I'd set it to record for 30 minutes and just drive around on it. See if you can capture anything when it hiccups and tie it to a sudden change in MAP or something like that.

Yeah, i was made aware up front that it would be password protected, but i thought that i would still be able to remove the password protected file as a whole...and still be able to work on a seperate file..and then just swap back and forth.

oh well live and learn i guess...

I'm still trying to figure out the data logging...i have not really had anytime to mess around with it...
