C950 Wiring questions....

In the process of installing the C950 TPI kit, but can't figure out two little things, first, what is the single yellow wire coming from the distributor harness used for, and second, what is the female three wire connector(prpl/wht/grn) near the ecu used for? pretty sure I have everything else figured out, just can't find any info on these....any help is greatly appreciated.

The single yellow wire is for the tachometer signal if using an old style mechanical advance HEI distributor, and the 950 is not controlling ignition timing.

The other connector is for a mag pickup crank trigger style ignition.

Neither one is required for our applications, unless of course, you're using that type of ignition.

On mine, I just depinned the yellow wire from connector C11 and removed it completely.
