Axle/Gears: 9in 4.30's

I got the JET stage 2 chip now getting Prom error

i put the Jet stage 2 chip in my 84 trans am...now i get the error code for a Prom error....is this normal...

the tech hot line for this company is useless..i tried to call for 3 days and im on hold forever and i give up...

clear the code and reinstall ? i assume you installed very carefully? i have prom install devise. otherwise i mangle it up occasionally.

yea tried clearing the code twice...

it has a big plastic clip around it..is that the install device?
