FI to carb, ecm issues

Would it be possible to change from tpi/tbi,
to carb, but keep the computer controlled
distibutor and computer related wiring?
If necessary, a O2 sensor signal could be faked with
an oscillator, or something. A midrange tps signal
could be faked with resistors, or perhaps a tps
could be added to a carb.
Distributor required sensors would be retained/added.
If this is not possible, please explain why.

If you want some type of CCC Carb get an late 80's carb off those Olds motors thay have a TPS built right in it and also adjust you AFR at idle and part throttle.
