Hey everyone, I'm looking for some free dignostic software for OBD1 systems th at I can use with my laptop. Any help would be great. e-mail me if you have something for me at rjblanchard@cogeco.ca

There is Moates ECM852 for the 8192 baud ECMs, and Joby's WinALDL for the 160 baud ECMs.

I'm still waiting for my interface cable, however looking on the web I have found two programs that seem very good.
Tunerpro & EFIlive v4.0
Tunerpro is shareware and EFIlive is try and buy but the try period is quite long, seach by name and you should find them OK.

well i have a 86 trans am 5.0 tpi and i am looking for software for my obd1 cable i tried using winaldl but i don;t think my ecm is on the list in the program so i am not sure which one will work with my car. Can anyone help?

I dont now but i think its winaldl read the supported vehicles

Is it a tbi,tpi wath ecm do you have.
Most tbi read aldl on pin E (C3 ECM).
