ALDL Cable mounting?
Has anyone thought of hard mounting the db9 connector somewhere in their car? I don't know if you can leave the cable connected to the diagnostic port or not but if you can, it would be cool to permanently mount the db9 connector to the inside bottom of the ashtray. That way you could just open the ashtray and hook up a serial/usb adapter cable to your laptop whenever you needed it. Is this a possible project?
