New FAST XFI system only $100 more then previous version???
As we all kow FAST has come out with there new XFI setup. It is suppose ot me a lot better then the older systems but most dealers and some internet dealer are offering it at only $100 more then the old sertup. Why doesnt that seem right to me? I have seen a complete setup for our car WITH WB O2 for $2200. Does that seem right or am I missing something here.

sounds about right to me but if you want the complete plug and play harness prepare to pay $1000 for that alone.

Car: 1971 Corvette
Engine: 6.0 LS1 L92 heads sheet metal etc.
Transmission: M21 4-speed
Axle/Gears: 3.36
The price and features of the Big Stuff 3 is causing the price drop in the FAST. The BS3 is 1999 for most of the same features of the new XFI. I think the old FAST in a sequential configuration was over 2500.

Maybe my reply broke some rules, but you didn't have to edit the whole thing.
Expletives aside, what I said was "My post was pertinent to the thread"

Firebirdjim -
From how I see it, 406 S10 Man is contributing to this Topic because he has first hand knowledge about DFI setups etc.. And if his knowledge applies directly to DFI on a Port Fuel Injected Chevy small block, you need to be appreciative or do not post on this board........
This is why a bunch of the knowledgable members of this site quit posting.

Confused what happened ?

Well then I missed somthing. Sorry. But what happened to my posts. Were they erased ? Why ?
I must of missed somthing.
IF 409 s10 man wants to talk about DFI, Great but I thought he was talking about a truck.
If the admin of this board is erasing posts he should at least notify the person who posted it.
Their was no reason I can fathom for removing my post.
As to the topic I am still seeking experienced help in DFI systems.
Electromotive or FAST.
To bottled zr29: Keep me informed as you attempt to install the old FAST system. Take pictures and document everthing.
What engine are you using it on ?
What are you using for a crank trigger and for a cam sensor ?
What coil packs are you using ?
Including part numbers.
It would make a great addition to the site.
thanks

I am in the middle of my install and I am using the stock style ignition setup. The cam sensor harness will not be used as well as the crank trigger harness. I just bought a complete MSD setup and I wasnt about to buy another dizzy and crap so I just had the ECU setup for HEI. When the temp drops below 90 here, I will be back at instaling it. I will make a new thread explaining all the details

To RRob moderator.
PM's ??? I do not understand. Please explain what happened to my previous post and why it was erased.
To: BOTTLEDZr28
Could you list the part numbers you have purchased. If you are not going to use any of the part you bought. Let me know with part numbers and a price for each. I may be interested.
Some Pics would be great.
thanks

I bought it from a local tuner/vendor here in town. he had it lying around from a previous job that never happened and he getting sickof seeing it lying around. I bought it off him and then he tuned it after I installed it. It cost me $700 to have him tune the system on a mustang dyno and he found 100 more RWHP then I originally had with the 730 ECM.
