remanufactured ECM
okay i have a 165 ECM but i dont know what size engine it came off of. it says on the ECM that it is an Engine Control Computer and it has the ASE logo next to it and the number is 7-7165 and the calibration code is 1098km

The ECM doesn't care what cid engine it's on.
But the chip does.
There should be a 4 letter code on the tag.
If not, pull the little 2 bolt panel off the top and look for it on the chip.
The go here and type in the 4 letter code.
