The 1227730, 16196344, and 16198262 computers all interchange. I am not sure which ECM is the latest revision.

The '730 was used in Cavaliers/Sunbirds/Berettas (J-bodies) and Corsicas/Celebrities/Cieras/6000's(?-bodies), besides F-bodies. Most anything with the 2.8/3.1L in that era used the '730.

For finding interchangeable/cross reference, try AC-Delco's Catalog. If you type 88999196 into the Vehicle List by Part Number search, what I listed about the '730 in the last paragraph is retrieved.

Any old 7730 will work.
Just go to a junk yard and look for one.
They range from $20 to $50. The more there are the less I'd pay.
I buy two at a time and usually get them for $20 ea.
