ECM 16168625 Vs. 1228746

My camaro currently has the 1228746 ECM..but i have a 16168625 from 93 blazer and was wondering if this ECM could be wired into the camaro to replace the stock 8746, and if so would it be a step forward OR a giant leap backwards?? i was told that the 16168625 would support the EEPROMS,,so that i wouldn't have to use my germ lamp to erase proms anymore..which is a pain in the butt by the way lol

Thanks,
Rick

Use this adaptor form Moates and you can use a flash chip on your current computer, easier then swapping ECU's

Yes it can

Will it run better? Maybe....

I'm looking at doing the swap depending on if I ever find a short bed full size that is a 350 and not black or way over priced.
But I want a 4L80E so I need to do the swap unless I find a 93-95.
