cant get datamaster to recognize PCM
Hello....So i just swapped a 350 into an auto trans 305 car. Changed the eprom to 1350 AUJP (16151348). This is a speed density system.
I am just checking diagnostics to see if there is anywhere I can tune for better performance. I downloaded datamaster $8D. Bought the cable and USB to serial converter, and running off com 5. I hooked the cable ends correctly (black to A and red to M on the aldl).
When I try to "test com" in the program it reads that my PCM isnt supported by this version of datamaster.
I dont understand why. I have the program set to f-body auto trans.
