wideband o2 options?
Is it neccessary to purchase all the kits off moates.net to get a nice widband o2 kit? Reason I ask is , I ran across a few kits off of jegs that inlcudes just a gauge and a hookup to their wideband o2. Wouldn't this be just as accurate? Only issue I see is I have to read it in real time, Can't record, So I have to look down at the afr while making a full throttle pass, And I can't really link the exact afr to any particular rpm or map value. But does the moates hardware take care of this?

If it is the gauge (LG-1 IIRC) that connects to the LC-1, you still need the LC-1 controller.Any WB controller has an output so you can log it.
Just need to have software in place that reads it. The gauges and "fluff" stuff are secondary and use either a dedicated output from the controller or a serial communication to display the output from the controller.
The AFR meters that use a NB sensor are not worth the effort IMO.
You can already see that on your logs.

I know, about the narrowband crap. Im talking about the gauges with the wideband sensor. None of the kits I see on jegs or such mention anything about an output to record to. So In regards to a good kit for wideband. What do I need from moates so I can do the hack that replaces my IAC numbers with the wideband numbers?
