Help with code retrieval

I'm looking for some help retrieving codes. I hooked a jumper wire up from pin 6 (labeled F) to pin 12 (labeled L) and the SEL light just stays on when I turn on the key - no 12...12...12. Anyone know what could be wrong and what to check?

I need the codes becasue the car is running like crap - it seems to be flooding at low RPM and is sluggish. It will only start after it's warmed up by flooring the pedal. It runs better at higher RPM, but not real good. I've put on a fuel pressure tester and it's real good and stays that way when running and after it's shut of for 20-30 minutes. I just put rebuilt stock heads, hooker 2055s, and a Catco converter.

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Help with code retrieval

I figured it out - using a guide that must have been for some other year. Once I juped the correct pins, it worked good. I'm getting codes 32 and 33. Any sugestion where to start? EGR and all sensors except knock and fan switches are new.

Thanks,
Dan
