Leg scpaing on memory adapter
I am pricing out some the equipment I'll need for chip burning and I am unable to find what leg spacing the 746 ECM has. I know the options are .045 and .060, but which do we have? Is it not the same for all TBI ECMs?

Re: Leg spacing on memory adapter
what are you ordering... I've never seen that option selection on anything on moates site or anyone else's site that makes tuning products for our cars.. are you ordering something custom or something?
Re: Leg spacing on memory adapter
Moates does have an option for .45 or.60 leg spacings on his site. I have just done this conversion and Im pretty sure that the 746 is the same as the 747 ecm's. I have also been told that most stuff is .60. I orderd the .60 and had no problems. You would have to verify this but I think that if you order the .60 it will work fine!! Or just pull up the main circuit board that the prom is attached to (you will have to do this anyway) and measure the pin spacing. I hope that this helps??

Re: Leg spacing on memory adapter
It should be the .6 spacing. To measure you need to pop the little board free and on the bottom of the board measure across the two rows of pins.
The only ECM I've seen with the .45 spacing is the 1227148 (GN, TTA).
