730 to 749 ecm swap

ok i dont know anything about ecm's, would this be a smart move, i am running a zz 383 with a procharger and havent had it tuned yet, or even had a custom chip for it. do i need a custom chip since the 749 ecm works with superchargers and turbos? or would u say i even need to swap ecms? thanks, bryan

Re: 730 to 749 ecm swap

You dont need to swap ECMs, the 730 and 749 are almost identical, the difference is just some injector drivers. Bottom line is.. you can run the 749 code on your 730.

Youll have to move a couple wires around in the ECM plugs and buy a moates adapter to put the syclone/typhoon binary on there.
