ya your base timing is set to 89 degrees, i think thats some of what youre looking at
often tuning places seem to put a quick bandaid solution on the tune cause it takes too long to do it properly

nah I have no way to get a copy of my stock bin...Its in stock form and not in a chip. ...Hmm? about the timing, Im wonderin if thats one of the reasond Ive never been able to set timign the corrrect way....but let not get off track.
I wish some could edit it the way they thing it should be...I have not idea where to even begin...
I dont know anything about chip burning or programming but you see what I have and your even saying thats CRAZY! as to what my chip has in it.
I wish others would chim in too.maybe I should start another thread? should we be in the DYI prom forum?

Re: Need help with data logging hardware/software?
there is alot of info on the 8D mask and 730 ecm but not much listed for the MAF 6E. there is a nice article on the 32b tho. Its kinda sad there is no links to the 6E maf system like the 8D.
is it really that inferior? i know maf can be easily maxed out but with PE tables allowing fuel addition after the MAF is done, it seems like there is no reason to convert to SD

Re: Need help with data logging hardware/software?
I compared my bin with the arap bin that comes with tunerpro jsut for kicks and my bin looks so ****ed up compared to the arap bin .. I think this bin is screwing my motor up!
in mine all nthe values looked maxed out...everything is either set to 255 or 89 and some other BS!
like where number of cylinders? its suppose to say 00 for 8 and mine says some BS like FF

Re: Need help with data logging hardware/software?
wow thats interesting. you sure its the right bin and XDF file to compare the values for?
Try swapping in a arap stock bin on the car to see how it runs. naturally it wont be optimal for that 383 but maybe it will hint to better run quality

Re: Need help with data logging hardware/software?
yeah its the right XDF file...its says it in the text..its the expanded 6e ..I even tried the regular 6e and its the same.
I read my chip a few times just to make sure and it still comes up the same...I want to go out and see if the chip still runs in the car...I mean Im sure it does but I cant seeing my car is do freaking loud!!!!!!..LOL
but yeah thats what comes up when I read my chip.
the arap.bin is for what kind of car?
before I got the LSR chip I couldnt even idle the car with my 305 chip.
