Engine falls flat above idle, GEN 7 DFI
I recently got my engine (ZZ4) up and running w/ Gen 7, MSD dual sync dist, accel 300+ ign. The engine idles fantastic but if you give it the gas it falters. Sometimes it catches and the RPMs take off and sometimes it stalls. Any input on where to start looking? I'm not sure if it's a fuel or ignition problem. I do know that the rpm output on my accel doesn't work properly but I think the problem is limited to that. I'm still pretty weak on the software (calmap) any idea what to look at to get a clue?

Very first place would be to check that your map sensor is functioning. If it's not showing any value, the engine will think it's in idle. Thus, it will idle nicely, until you start to reduce the vacuum. Then it still only gives the idle fuel amount while taking in the part throttle air amount. Even if it's not the MAP check all sensors and connections. It's easier to check connections and signals than it is to keep programming it.
