hey got a quick question i was checking the computer in my car. and noticed it had foil paper in the top plugs heres the pic. I pulled them out and reconnected the computer and then the car started running bad
it idled real bad a 300-400 rpms and no power i hit the gas pedal and nothing happened. wondering what happened i pulled the computer back out and reinserted the foilpaper back in and rehooked it and then guess what ,the damn thing fired up like nothing happend wondering why some one did this any answers?

Re: Ecc question.
Sounds like the foil was put in there to make up for poor connections between the connector and the pins.
When you removed it the connection was lost.
Removing the pins from the connector and tighteningthem to fit better would solve the problem.
Not a fun chore but IMO it will save you trouble later.
They WILL be shaking loose and causing you trouble if not corrected.
