Will stock speed density system work with this?

Hi,
My 305TPI motor is being rebuilt. It is a 91lb9 with the MAP sensor. I have been planning to upgrade the cam to the comp cams XR264HR. On comp cams website it says that this cam is intended to use in otherwise stock TPI car. I plan on having the heads reworked to handle the extra cam.
However, it has been brought to my attention that the new cam will make my car run like crap without a computer reprogramming.
Here is a link to the specs for the cam:http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Se...umber=08-501-8
I do plan on having the car dyno tunned eventually. However, this will not take place for quite some time. I just want to know if I will be able to drive the with the new cam and the stock speed density setup.
If I need to reprogram the computer in order for the proposed combo to work, how much would something like that cost?
I know nothing about computer programming, so I am helpless in that respect.
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
