i found the holley 950, is this a good deal? ASIN: B000M29A7U is this the new model, i heard they had a old verson or something like that?

You can buy the ECM by itself without the harness and sensors for a lil under $500. I have installed several and bought the ECM only. They use more or less standard GM ECM connectors (OBD 1), you only need to shave off the alignment tab and repin the connector and you're good to go.
