1227730 ecm

I am new to the 90-92 fuel injection world, and I am trying to get a setup to work in my car. I couldn't find a 7730 computer with the 5.7 prom for under $150 anywhere, so I bought a 7727 Vette ecm for cheap to steal the prom out of it and use it in a 7730 ecm out of a 4 or 6 cylinder. I think the 7727 I bought isn't actually out of vette, however, because the prom number is AUMX 1249. I can't find that number anywhere in vette prom numbers. Does anyone know what that prom is out of? Will it work in the 7730 for my TPI setup? I am having it reburned so I don't care what particular vette setup it was originally for. I just need to make sure it will indeed work for me. Thanks for any help.

It's a 3.1 six cylinder out of a Lumina, Grand Prix, Regal type car. I don't think it will work for you as you need an eight cylinder prom to start with.
