I am having trouble finding infomation on running a 1bbl tbi on a 16168625 ecm ... which ius setup for 2 tbi injectors ...

Does anyone know where i can find information ... or can someone provide details ...

ROb thanks for your help BUT were scrapping the port injection unit into the 2 runner manifold for that 4 cylinder.

I was trying to run port injection on a siemized 4 cylinder project but was unable to get out stumble .. we think it has some thing to do with injector timing and valve timing ....

so TBI should work if i can get the ECm to synch injectors not Asynch

 

Are you looking to run the engine with the single TBI 1BBL, or 4 of them?

if you are trying to run just one, you could swap to a '730 ecm with the right 4 cyl cal, unless you really need the '8625 to run an e-trans.

 

yes running just 1 1bbl tbi unit an prefer to stay with the existing ecm for trans control

from the documents I have read, in order to run every DRP, you would need to apply +5v (VCC) on the memcal to pin 13 of the 16 pin netres. I beleive pin 12 is VCC.
