ECM giving bad ground??

Hello I'm having a problem with my primary fan not turning on I know when the ECM wants the fan to turn on it will ground the relay and I'm getting a resistance of about 43 when I ground the A B ALDL. I checked the resistance of the wire going from the ecm to the relay and it was .3 a good resistance. I checked the ECM grounds they were about .5. I count 5 grounds for my ECM (165) did I miss any?? What do I do now? Is my ECM bad?

Re: ECM giving bad ground??

Most (if not all) of the grounds to the ECM connects together internally, so I don't think that is your problem. The ECM could be bad but it's hard to tell if the resistance of the relay driver is out of spec's since it'll vary with the applied current. Try the same but connect a test lamp (1.2W) between 12V and the output in question. See if it lights up properly, and measure the saturation voltage from output to ground instead.
