Puzzling Trouble Codes?!?!?!
I just ran my codes and I got a 22, 34 and 44. I looked them up and came up with:
22 Throttle position sensor error (signal low)
34 MAP sensor circuit error (signal low indicating high vacuum)
44 Oxygen sensor error (lean condition indicated)
My car is an 87 T/A LB9 With a manual Trans
This is a MAF car I thought, Any thoughts how I could have a MAP error?

Re: Puzzling Trouble Codes?!?!?!
The code 34 listed for the MAP is really for the MAF sensor. It is the same basic description though: MAF sensor reading is low. This can be caused by an air leak as it won't be metered by the MAF.
Before replacing any parts check the grounds on the back of the passenger head. Then do the tap test on the ECM & MAF. With the engine running tap on each. If the engine stumbles or otherwise changes how it is running then that part is most likely bad.

Re: Puzzling Trouble Codes?!?!?!
I think I am one step closer. I pulled the MAF and found that there ate two filaments. The short thick one is fine. The thin as a hair fliament that runs all around is broken. That may explain at least part of my problem.
