lean cruise maps

Hi all,
Just a question on lean cruise maps in tunerpro rt on my aussie 5.0lt V8.
I am running the 16183082 ECU similar to the US (165)
In my FVE1:Volumetric Efficiency as a function of MAP and RPM (low RPM)
at my cruising speeds of 80KPH (50mph) my map shows at 1600rpm-50kpa the cell reads 53.52.
Now in my F61:Lean Cruise Air Fuel Delta Vs RPM and MAP in the same 1600rpm-50kpa the cell shows 2.00.
Does that mean the 2.00 cell is subtracted from my main cell of 53.52 to become 51.52 hence leaning out the VE.
The reason i ask is that i'm running about 16.5 - 17.0 AFR when in lean cruise and get a slight "hunting" at the speed/maps i mentioned.
So if i lowered the lean cruise map cell to say 1.50 that would mean my main VE map would now be 52.02 and slightly "richer" than before?

Am i on the right path or completely wrong and should go to the back of the EFI class
Cheer and thanks for any info....Mario
