DIACOM users. help!

I've been trying to cure a stumble on my old '86 Vette now for a month now. Unfortunatly, without a scanner I'm shooting in the dark. I've had a DIACOM for years and I dusted the box off last week.

Well I've spent the last two days trying to get this thing to link from an old Panasonic Toughbook w/Win98. I'm working directly in DOS and I've tried every Parallel port configuration I could find; still NO LINK. I think (hope) it boils down to my DIACOM version 2.5 being too old and I need version 2.7or newer to handle my CPU's speed.

Does anybody have any insight to this? Could someone burn me a copy of 2.7 or new? DIACOM wanted $79.00 bucks to upgrade back in 1993 which I thought was kinda outa line back then If I can't do this cheaply I'm throwing this thing in the trash and going Moates for $50.

Re: DIACOM users. help!

I have to take a look at mine laptop.
I thinking it might be a problem in the config.sys or a win.ini file
