as soon ad closed loop engages. i loose my connection with the scanner.
so when i hook up and otc scanner to my 87 iroc 5.7 tpi i have data and can read codes in open loop as soon and it goes to closed loop i mean right as it changes i lose all data and cant even read codes on the scanner.
im thinking literly the only thing that can cause this is the ecm itself?
and input will help.

hey i could really use any and all input on this situation. ive yet to ben able to aquire a pcm or prom to swap and try it out. but it still will not read data once the pcm switches to closed loop.
but when the car is cold it will read codes/ data untill closed loop arrives.
literly the only thing that could posibly cause this is the pcs itself correct?
