engine driveabilty problems

First I have no codes coming up, new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, coil, module, injectors cleaned, 11.46 psi fuel pressure. start car in morning, lopes, go to drive have to feather gas pedal, everytime you hit second gear only @2500 rpms engine misses lightly. as car warms up, idle hangs then drops. has alsmall roughness at idle when warm, car is not as snappy as it was. you go somewhere let car sit and try to start, it keeps dyeing, 3to 4 times of starting it and it will run and back to same warm engine problems. Someone please share some ideas. 1991 rs v-8 5spd. 100 percent un-molested car

Re: engine driveabilty problems

i'd have to agree with ultimatefighter here, pick-up coil definitely seems to fit the bill. i was fighting an idling problem similar to what your describing in my 89RS for 2 years, only to find it was a bad pickup coil, even though it ohm'd out o.k. try unplugging your esc wire and see if it runs better. if it does, chances are that's your problem.
