car runs great but can't get the almighty check engine light to go off cause of these codes..

What is the thing i circled in red?? sits on top of throttle body... does it matter that the two hoses going from this lead to nowhere?

emissions canister or something? where do the hoses conect??


could any of this be giving me those codes. is it even stuff to worry about??
