SENSOR:TPS

I finally got a usb to odb1 cable and hooked it up to my car to try and figure out what is going on, I have set my TPS to .54 but on my datalog it always shows up as .7

And, what ranges should I be seeing on my SENSOR:BLM, right now they are ranging from 2 to 250.

Last question, I have my O2 sensor unhooked should I still be seeing the SENSOR:O2 values changing.

Re: SENSOR:TPS

With engine not runnin and key on when you depress the accellerator do you see TPS% changing?

I believe it was once said you may not have the correct.ads file for your application?

Re: SENSOR:TPS

I had the vehicle running while I was capturing, I will try it again tonight when I get home.

Here is the link of the .ads I was using for my car.

Re: SENSOR:TPS

That was from some troubleshooting I was doing before I before I ordered my cable to hook it to my laptop. I was going to hook it up last night but it was 18 degrees and sleeting outside. I was having some issues with the car randomly missing under acceleration after it warmed up and it seemed to do better with the O2 sensor unhooked.

Re: SENSOR:TPS

With sensor unhooked it is runnin limp mode and should throw a CE light.

I dont doubt the datalogs will look goofy when runnin off the memcal.

I wwould hook up the 02 sensor then check for codes in datalog that may help diagnose your problem with misfire.

Re: SENSOR:TPS

It is throwing CE lights, the ones that showed up where VSS, EGR, O2, EST.

If the O2 is unhooked will it also cause the EST error.
