6396 vs 7747- or upgrade to 7247?

just got my ostrich 2 and i have to decide which ecm to mess with- can anyone tell me if i want to use 6396 or 7747, or upgrade to 7247, which may require some rewiring?

i can't seem to find the "BDUY" bin for the 6396 or the "AFTA" bin for the 7747, can anyone point me towards those?
