how do I know if my computer is stock?

I was TOLD that there is a performance chip in my computer. since I'm going to carb, I'm not going to be using the computer and figured I'd put it on craigslist, but I want to find out what exactly I have before I try to sell it.. I don't want to tell someone its got a performance chip and then turn out it doesn't, and also I don't want to sell it to someone who needs a stock one if its not stock.
is there any way to tell by looking whether its an aftermarket chip?
