Freescan won't install on laptop

Freescan won't install on laptop
I'm trying to load Whittaker's Freescan on a Toshiba M200 running XP Tablet 2005 SP3 and it hangs after the preparing install wizard mini-window.
I've read the dashboard and GUI are supposed to be nice and I'd like to see what they look like.
