i am converting my 89 iroc tpi to carb and have a few things left to tidy up. the ses lite and warning comes on and stays on. can i cut the wire at the ecm to disable it. i am keeping the ecm because of the vats system for security. will the trans lock up feature still work. i am going to connect a hot wire to my electric fuel pump since i removed the old electric in tank pump. i guess i can remove the fuel pump relay, wires and old oil pressure switch. i installed mechanical guages for oil and water. thanks for your support.
