I thought for sure I had found what I needed on the moates site a year or so ago when I was first looking. Now after searching moates, gmecm, and some place called eecis I think it was, I have not been able to find a stock bin for my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really just need to test this cheap knock off programmer to see if it works, but I don't have an eraser for the chip so I want to have the right .bin if it does...

Anybody think I would be able to get it to erase in a UV sterilizer cabinet thing they have at my old high school (its for the goggles in chem class)?

Anyway, I just need a .bin for a '89 TPI 305, auto, fed emissions, w/2.77 rear. Thanks in advance.

 

I looked through the BINs I have here with no luck.

Although the goggle cabinet just may work to erase the chips. If there are warnings about not looking at the light, or a bunch of safety interlocks to prevent the light from being on when the cabinet is open, it will probably work.

As for the cabinet... I don't remember, I think it did have a door pin switch, but that's it, well and a locking handle. And, I think it did have the warning sticker thing... I guess I'll just have to give it a try...

 

I erase eproms with a device that was actually made for sterilzing toothbrushes! The only modification required to the unit was to install a capacitor to increase the timer to 15 minutes from the standard 5 minutes from when the door was closed.

Best $20 dollars I ever spent!

Dang, though I really do need this stock .bin sooner or later. lol, I bought this programmer off ebay just so I could program one chip with one thing (the stock .bin). And, now I can't find the stinkin' .bin. I think I know why it's so hard to come by. In '89 there were only 8,925 LB9 optioned Camaros and who knows how few of them match the other specs I need (2.77, auto, etc.) and then on top of that how few of those were owned by someone who copied the stock .bin and made it available publicly... I may just be on a wild goose chase here... Guess I'll have to start looking into how I can cobble one togther from the .bins that are available...

But... Still, if anyone out there has the stock bin that I need please let me know, that's really what I'm after.

Excellent, just what I needed.

I was also able to find an ANYH .bin from another member on here. So, I'm all set now as far as .bins go. Only problem is my programmer (eBay Willem knockoff) seems to be a no go . I guess that's what I get for going the cheap route...
