LT-1 PCM?
LT-1 PCM?
Just wondering what everyone that has an Lt1 is using for there tuning?? Or PCM upgrade? I just acquired a free LT-1 and tranny and will be swapping it for my tbi set up after a rebuild and heads etc. Hopefull 400hp+-. Its a 1996 and Ive heard that the stock PCM isnt that easy to tune or does not have much support?? Its the newer style SPFI with the maf that I may remove later we'll see. Ive read a little about running it with an LS style PCM and doing the Coil per cylinder conversion and im just looking for some tips advice etc. Or anyone that has done this conversion or is using the 0411 pcm swap as well. EFI connection seems to have a decent setup for the coil conversion and I will probably go with an aftermarket harness but I need to know the best PCM to use before I get the harness etc. Any help or thoughts would be greatly apprecaited thanks!!

Re: LT-1 PCM?
Honestly if I had an LT1 car the very first thing I would to to it is convert to an LS1 PCM, there is info for the swap on LS1tech. What more could you want than COP control and tuning threw the OBD2 port, plus support from every major EFI company out there.
