Is there a way to compensate for this?

Previous owner of my car put 17lb injectors and a cam. Obv they never tryed to adjust the computer for the cam and bigger injectors so my car is running really rich. I contacted a dyno/speed shop and they said they have no programs to tune my vehicle. It's a 2.8 v6 mpfi. Is there anyways I can get my ecu to compensate for the cam and injectors on my 7302'? Or do I have to take these out and return to stock?

Any suggestions would be awesome

what mask is it?

if it's like a normal speed-density mask, you'll just have to change the BPW vs EGR table.

Umm I know the ECM is the '7302. I was going to start datalogging soon and RBob told me my mask id was $3A. So I'm assuming that's what your asking? Idk to much about this stuff but I'm just trying to get my car running the way it should.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Thank you.

Re: Is there a way to compensate for this?

great... MAF. i have a 3A XDF, but i'm not seeing either a scalar or table for the usual items.

you may have to change the "Injector Pulse Width Vs. Load Value" table by the amount of difference there was with the old injectors compared to the new ones. or maybe the LV8 scale factor...

i'm still lost when it comes to MAF, so someone else could definitely give a better answer....

well thanks for the help that you can provide. By what your saying im going to have to burn a new chip for the ecu correct? ( like I said this stuff in general is kinda confusing to me so I only understand a little of it) but if that's the case do you know of a person or place or website I can contact that will actually do that for me? I would have no idea on how go about doing that if I was going to do it myself and it seems the speed shop near me doesn't know how ether. ( the guy seems kinda a ***** while talking to him too)

it seems having a 2.8 is just a headache all around. Can't till next year when I hopefully swap my engine.

since it seems your looking for kind of an interim measure before doing an engine swap maybe try adj. fuel press. regulator?
