How to control tpi/stealthram system

so, I'm in Virginia and if anyone's ever been here before you know you can easily experience 3 seasons in 1 day. I really want to build an extreme 350 or 383, and I want it to run smooth for having a LARGE cam in it. If I stick with the 350 I wanna go with an LT4 hotcam, if I go with the 383 and a nice set of heads I wanna go with a .574/.580 and 274/280 duration comp cams setup with 2.08 intake valves and 210 AFR heads.

so I really need some fuel injection to make this car fun and comfortable to drive and reliable. Im SICK of my carbs. So what I'd like to do is buy a TPI setup, sell the intake with runners and then use some of that money to buy a used stealthram intake and fuel rail. My question is, how will I use the TPI computer to control such a system? or would I need to replace the ECU with an aftermarket one?? what's the cheapest and most reasonable way to get this done?

I really dont know much about computer control on high modded engines. any help would be appreciated

Re: How to control tpi/stealthram system

Basically, you're just looking to do an intake swap. The factory ECM will run the new engine with some time spent tuning.

Nice. I'd like to do that. Where did you get the parts?

http://www.tunercat.com/ for programing easy to use
Bins to open your factory prom $19.00

there are free programs.. they are not as graphical <> harder to use
I do like tuner PRO!!! more features like changing your shift light indicator

http://xtronics.com/ flashing the atmel EEprom
http://www.digikey.com/?WT.term=atme...5522&WT.srch=1

atmel 27c256 EEproms.. I use 256 the speed is faster <> you only need 27c128
